Alisha Allison – Portfolio

Welcome to my portfolio!

I am Alisha Allison, a first-semester student at the Craig Newmark School of Journalism and a University at Buffalo alum.

In 2024, I obtained my Political Science BA and Journalism certificate. As an undergraduate, I gained experience in journalism through courses and writing for two publications, The Spectrum and Her Campus.

I am thankful I had the opportunity to do so. I am excited to sharpen my journalism skills and develop new ones at the J-School.

I am currently a National Writer for Her Campus on the Entertainment team. I’ve covered music, television shows, films, online trends, live events, and conducted exclusive interviews. I’ve written news articles for this publication on politics and social movements including the 2024 Presidential Election and protests on college campuses during the 2024-25 academic year.
